Fashion Friday – Getting Ready for Wireless

It will be 8 weeks on Saturday until my very first festival and this year I’m heading to Wireless to indulge in the musical delights of the likes of Calvin Harris, Emilie Sande, DJ Fresh and the almighty Jay-Z…and I can’t deny I’m crossing my fingers that he’ll be joined on stage by Kanye, RiRi or even Queen Bey herself (not likely but I can dream!).

Given the amazing weather we’ve had so far this year, it’s highly likely I will be needing some wet weather gear but thankfully I have found a mac which I am in love with and will definitely be purchasing upon day pay (please don’t let my size sell out in the next week!). This bright yellow number complete with ears (yes ears!) will not only keep me dry but also act as a homing beacon should I get lost in the crowd. As well as the mac, wellies will be a must and I am pretty keen on these green spotted ones (spot the trend coming up!) available from none other than Amazon, who seem to literally sell everything these days. To try to keep my stash of belongings close to me at all times I figure a rucksack is my go-to bag for this occasion. If you haven’t seen them yet the MiPac range of kitsch backpacks come in a number of different patterns and colours and are available now from ASOS starting at just £20.

Yellow rain mac from ASOS £50

Green spotted wellies from Amazon £29.99

Nordic print rucksack MiPac available at ASOS £22

So these are my key items so far, any ideas what you’ll be packing for festival season?

The raincoat is amazing, with all the rain at festivals(well fingers crossed) i really should invest in a rain coat over the tatty plastic bag style ponchos what usually cost a fortune when it rains.

  3. Thanks for the follow!

I can’t even remember how I stumbled across it, but I’m so glad I did, I think it’s definitely the ears that make me love it so much!
